An entrepreneurial music and artist management business based in north London is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their finance function.
This is a newly created role due to growth of the business. Working closely with the Finance Manager you will be responsible for assisting with both the management accounts for the business as well as accounts preparation for client accounts. Responsibilities will include assisting with management accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, banking and more. This is a varied role for someone who is looking to get involved in a wide variety of duties and grow with the business.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years working in a transactional finance role who is now looking to take on additional responsibility. This role will be working in a small, dynamic office within a close-knit team. Ideally you will have a keen interest in music as this role offers opportunity to get involved in the wider business. Candidates must have strong Excel skills including v-look ups and pivot tables and knowledge of Xero would be beneficial.
