Management Accountant

A leading Exeter employer with operations throughout the UK & Europe are currently seeking to recruit a management accountant for a full-time, permanent position. The management accountant will provide financial analysis support to a small team which is integral to the wider finance department.

Responsibilities of your new role

As management accountant your responsibilities will include:

• Producing monthly profit and loss and balance sheet figures;
• Investigating anomalies and variances within management accounts;
• Production of analysis and preparing commentary;
• Liaising with senior management;
• Maintenance of Balance Sheet control accounts; and
• Assisting with budgets and forecasts, consolidating data, preparation of presentations.

Requirements: skills, experience and qualifications

To succeed in this management accountant role, you must demonstrate:

• Strong excel skills, and experience with pivot tables and v-lookups;
• Studying towards your CIMA or ACCA or recently qualified;
• Previous experience in a management accounting or finance analyst role;
• Highly motivated, energetic and strong interpersonal skills; and
• Enjoys working closely with a small team of experienced, dedicated professionals.
