An award-winning family-run group of holiday parks based on the 'English Riviera' are looking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller. Joining their offices in Paignton, Devon, you will be offered a full-time, permanent role and up to £42,200 per year.
Responsibilities of your new role
Your primary duties as financial controller will include:
- Producing an annual financial strategy and budget;
- Producing of the statutory financial accounts and monthly management accounts;
- Improving the frequency, communication and focus on companywide financial reporting;
- Managing the cash, bank balances and working capital;
- Day to day running of the finance team; and
- Ensuring all lending, funding and business relationships are well managed.
The role is extremely varied and is integral to the Finance Team, providing support to the SMT team.
Required skills, experience and qualifications
The leisure business is looking to speak with financial control professionals who demonstrate:
- Fully qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA;
- Experience of working at Senior Management level; and
- Any experience in leisure, travel or tourism is beneficial.
