M&A / Corporate Finance Executive opportunity within a leading Boutique Advisory firm specialising in mid-market M&A transactions involving Trade and Private Equity buyers.
THE COMPANY
A leading M&A / Corporate Finance practice specialising in advising mid-market businesses on M&A transactions involving Trade Buyers, Private Equity Investors and MBO teams. The firm is prolific in completing deals in the £5m - £50m space and has an innovative marketing and deal origination operation which creates a high volume of deal opportunities.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As an M&A / Corporate Finance Executive you will be part of a highly experienced transaction team, fully involved in the execution of transactions, mainly sales to Trade, Private Equity and MBO teams.
Working as part of a small growing team you will gain 'hands-on' experience in all areas of deal planning, execution and negotiation and can expect to progress from leading small transactions to managing larger deals.
As an M&A / Corporate Finance Executive your duties will involve:
- Lead Advisory work on mid-market transactions (c.£5m - £50m deal values)
- Handling research work on acquisition targets and buyers
- Preparing very detailed Information Memorandum
- Managing a range of deliverables including forecasts, financial models, analysis reports, proposals and pitches
- Supporting Directors on larger transactions
- Business Development work within the Accountancy, Funding and Investment communities in Manchester

THE PERSON
You will be an ACA / ACCA Qualified Accountant able to demonstrate the following:
- Background within Top 4 / 10 or Mid Tier Chartered Practice
- Experience within Audit & Accounts and some forecasting or financial modelling experience
- An understanding and appreciation of corporate finance
- A strong desire to gain 'hands-on' deal experience within a leading M&A / Corporate Finance boutique
