Senior Accounting Manager

A household name Technology business are working closely with Investigo to hire a Senior Accounting Manager, focused within Revenue & inventory, to join a dynamic and hardworking finance function based in their European Headquarters in Surrey. This is a highly influential role within one of the world's leading providers of innovative and high specification consumer technologies.

The Opportunity:

• Leading & overseeing the General Accounting and Financial Reporting for the Revenue, Inventory, and Gross Margin function, inclusive of Balance Sheet responsibility of the associated Balance Sheet Accounts
• Responsible to ensure timely and accurate monthly closing and that all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with all financial policies and US/IFRS GAAP
• Coordinating different stakeholders within business units and in-country organisations across Europe as well as the European management.
• Liaise with the Statutory and Compliance team to ensure all finance and commercial activities in the business comply with the effective application of agreed Accounting Policy and SOX controls

Requirements:

• Experience of IFRS essential.
• Qualified accountant with experience of working alongside business functions outside of Finance.
• Proactive, pragmatic character absolutely vital. Solutions led, forward thinking mind-set.
• Driving & sustaining change in a lean accounting environment on a pan-European basis.

Salary:

68,000- 72,000 + 7k car, up to 20% bonus, 14% pension contribution, healthcare, holiday, flexi benefits, discounted tech products, subsidised gym, canteen and dry cleaning.
