Senior Audit Executive

Senior Audit Executive opportunity for an ACA / ACCA Qualified Accountant offering responsiblity for planning & leading audits of entrepreneurial businesses (£20m - £50m t/o) and structured career progression through to Director longer term.

An established and highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors with an enviable client list which comprises many successful Owner Managed and Mid-Market Lancashire businesses. The firm is a full solution practice, offering entrepreneurial businesses Audit, Accounts, Tax, Payroll, Outsourced Management Accounting / Financial Control and Corporate Finance Advisory solutions.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Joining the practice as a Senior Audit Executive you will have the opportunity to get to know your Owner-Managed and Mid-Market clients really well as their Auditor & Advisor and will retain involvement with them as you progress to Manager / Senior Management level within the firm.

Responsibilities will include:

• Planning and leading Audits for large Owner-Managed and Mid-Market businesses (£20m - £50m t/o) Supervising junior staff on audit engagements
• Reporting to Audit Manager and Director
• Preparing Year-End Accounts and Monthly Management Accounts for a small number of SME clients Progressing into a Managerial role with responsibility for a team of Accountants

This position represents a great opportunity for an ACA / ACCA Qualified Audit & Accounts Senior to join a reputable Chartered Practice and develop close ties with successful entrepreneurial clients whilst progressing to towards a Senior Management role.

THE PERSON

You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:

• ACA / ACCA Fully Qualified Background within Audit / Accounts at a medium or large Accountancy Practice (min.3-4 years)
• Experience in advising large entrepreneur-led businesses
• A strong desire to progress your career longer term to Director level within an established and reputable Accountancy Practice
