A household media brand are looking for a Financial Controller on an interim/ temp to perm basis. The brand have been around for a number of years and after a successful rebrand, they are looking to expand the finance team. You will be responsible for the smooth running of finance and partner with the Head of Commercial Finance to role out new projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing new process as the business grows
- Reporting the actuals against budgets, reporting packs
- Responsible for the monthly management accounts, according to GAAP
- Responsible for reporting operational issues to the wider business
- Develop accurate cost reporting on all projects
- Lead on all audits
- Lead and manage a team of 3
Key requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant - ACA/CA/ACCA chartered accountant
- Experience in a management position
- Experience with project costing/ reporting
- Media back ground- ideally media agency or consultancy - agency model business
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent data analysis skills and very systems savvy
