Search Consultancy are working with a highly specialised design, manufacturing and technology company who work with a global group of customers across several verticals. The company has grown rapidly in the last 5 years and provides a range of bespoke services and products to clients on both a one-off and regular or repeat basis. Due to a marked expansion in the number of projects currently operating, the business has created a new Project Accountant position within the company's Finance team based in Horsham, West Sussex.

The Project Accountant will work closely with the Finance Director and provide commercial finance support to various Project Managers across the business. You will develop a detailed and intricate knowledge of projects and provide commercial, decision-support information for the Finance Director and the Board. You will assist with ongoing projects and also provide support in relation to new and/or potential projects that the business is considering.

Other duties will include:

* Managing P&L Accounts for core/ongoing projects and creation of new, bespoke accounts for new projects
* Act as Finance lead contact for internal and external stakeholders in relation to projects, queries etc.
* Carry out regular profitability reviews in conjunction with the FD and relevant Project Managers
* Cash Flow Analysis
* Establishment of robust cost control and reporting systems to ensure that there is transparency for both the business and customers where required
* Ad-hoc support for Project Managers in relation to labour, costing and design.

We are seeking an experienced Project Accountant, ideally with experience gained in manufacturing/engineering or technology. You will be confident in setting up new procedures and reports, as well as being a strong communicator. A large part of the role will involve working with non-finance colleagues to help drive process improvement across the business. As a result, the role offers scope to add real value to the business and an opportunity to work within an exciting, rapid-growth organisation.

Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
