Management Accountant / Site Accountant

12 Month Maternity contract – Lancashire – £28000 - £32000. Manufacturing

Based in Lancashire this established manufacturing business are part of a larger group based in the UK. With sites across the country they are seeking a stand-alone accountant to process the finance admin and accounting month end duties which report into head office. Covering a maternity contract the role will be for a minimum fixed term of 12 months.   

Your New Job
As Site Accountant your role is pivotal in supporting the business through all aspects of finance admin. Processing the ledgers, producing reports and assisting in the month end process you shall remain hands-on and work closely with the general manager to support the business over many levels. Working closely with stakeholders to provide value add support to the wider business you shall hold a sole accounting role for this singular manufacturing site. Providing month end support you shall support the budgetary/forecasting process, gaining exposure to Commercial and Operational divisions you shall manage cash-flow and assist with the year-end accounting duties. This role will be varied and interesting.

Your Experience & Our Requirements 
You shall be a hands-on accountant and either QBE or by qualifications (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role. Fully conversant with Purchase ledger, sales ledger, month end process and able to support in a sole accounting role you shall have experience of working with Excel and have partnering skills across a business.
