A globally recognised luxury retail business based in Central London are currently seeking an ambitious Financial Accountant to join their high calibre team.
Role and Responsibilities
Working as part of the Financial Reporting team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Co-ordination of regional inventory submissions
- Monthly reporting as well as quarterly forecast and budgeting
- Computation of unrealised profit in inventory elimination, for both monthly reporting as well as quarterly forecast and budgeting
- Review of monthly group consolidated inventory balances and associated activities
- Review and analysis of specific group consolidated balance sheet accounts and preparation of consolidated statutory accounts
- Review of regional year end submissions
- Performing consistent and accurate checks on the draft consolidated accounts
- Liaison with external auditors
- Ad hoc tasks which include project work as required
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Group Consolidation experience (preferable multi-currency)
- Previous exposure to IFRS reporting
- Passion for the retail market & interest in luxury goods

- £45,000 - £50,000
- Permanent, full time contract
