Client / Job / Person Spec Details

We are working with a well-known property & asset management company with a base of major projects spread across London and the South East.  The business currently manage an investment portfolio comprising 2.5 million sq ft of premium lettable space in multi-use assets, and have a £400 million development pipeline.  Reporting directly to the AP Manager, you share / undertake all AP activities, ensuring compliance with relevant procedures, including supplier management, purchase orders, invoices payable, and payments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Understand and adhere to relevant AP and related procedures
  • Work with the AP Manager to ensure all tasks are completed properly and on time
  • Follow the timetable and attend weekly AP planning meeting
  • Monitor purchase orders and ensure compliance with procedures
  • Oversee accounts central email account and ensure all invoices are picked up and registered
  • Check invoices payable for basic requirements
  • Process approved invoices payable on a timely and accurate basis including ensuring all invoices are covered by a valid purchase order
  • Monitor supplier standing data including payment terms, bank, VAT, and CIS details
  • Work with the estates and development accountants to ensure efficient processing of their invoices and prompt responses to queries

    About you

  • Sound knowledge of AP operations, related accounting and controls
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Able to work to and meet deadlines
  • Understands the high level of confidentiality expected within the business
  • Previous experience using Bluebox (Tramps) software preferable but not essential
  • Good educational standards or equivalent including good spoken, written and numeric skills
  • Must possess strong presentation and reporting skills (written and oral),
  • Intermediate level in MS Power Point and preferably and advanced Excel user. 
  • Can maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including Senior Management Accountant, FC, Development Accountants, Suppliers etc
