CFO

A multi-site private equity-backed tech-enabled B2B business is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the organisation. This market leading business has seen significant organic and acquisitive growth, whose performance over the past few years has been exponential. With high margins and strong growth potential, the existing management and private equity backers intend to continue their growth up to and beyond an exit in the next few years.

Reporting to the CEO, they are seeking a candidate who will be able to take full ownership of the finance function, delivering core financial expertise, and partner with the CEO across all functions provide financial and strategic insight. You'll be responsible for full financial control, lead improvement for systems, processes, and controls across the business, and be responsible for staff development. As well, formulate and execute the strategy to support the business growth.

The ideal candidate be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), who has been an autonomous CFO or Divisional FD that is capable of partnering with the CEO and the wider business. They are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate significant growth, experience of M&A, and can engrain the analytical engine of finance into the fabric of the business. Strategic insight, strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to develop a strong finance team is vital in this leadership role. Experience in a private equity backed business is strongly preferred.
