Finance Manager

Peterborough: Cambridgeshire:- The ONE Group have been engaged to recruit a Finance Manager for our fast moving, multi-site business with head offices in Peterborough.

The business has a fantastic brand and opportunity to grow, but knows it has a lot of work to do to improve business insight and gain tighter control of margins and costs.
The position of finance Manager is newly created to support the Finance Director with management of a small team, monthly management reporting and providing
insight into business performance.
You will have the freedom to interrogate data, create new reports and drive through new processes and procedures.

Key duties include:
- Provide analysis and management information to support business decisions.
- Oversee and assist the production of monthly management accounts, including full variance analysis
- Analysis of key business areas including stock, cash, debtors & creditors, product support and promotional spend
- Provide direction to the development of other systems for production, warehousing and other departments.
- Manage the working capital budgets of the company.
- Coordinate and manage the preparation of the annual financial budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Weekly and monthly management reporting, including full variance analysis (labour/ waste/ machine downtime)
- Product costing and working with NPD on financial appraisals
- Management of a small team
- You will have the freedom to interrogate all areas of operations and track and report value engineering projects

Suitable applicants will ideally be Qualified CIMA/ ACCA/ACA, (finalists considered) and have previous experience of working within a manufacturing/ production/ product environment
