Regional Finance Manager

A qualified accountant is needed for a Finance Manager role covering Wiltshire, from a base in Witney.

My client is the second largest care home provider in the country with a very large turnover. They provide care in 71 care homes in Lincolnshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, They also offer a domiciliary care service in 14 extra care housing schemes in Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Suffolk. They employ approximately 4,000 staff and support over 3,500 residents.

Your new role
Responsible to the Head of Operational Finance, with a dotted reporting line to the Assistant Operations Director, to provide comprehensive business partnering and therefore support and constructively challenge operations to drive business performance & efficiencies in the region. Preparation and reporting of the Management Accounts, and other financial and statistical data for the region and utilising trends and information within them to understand and improve the financial performance of the region . Responsible for delivery of effective financial management, control and advisory support.

What you'll need to succeed
Recognised Accounting Qualification or in final stages of training
Previous experience in a medium sized company and management position
Evidence of continued professional development
Evidence of up to date knowledge of accounting standards
Led and developed a strong finance team of 1+ persons, and in multi-site environment
Extensive experience of preparing and presenting monthly management accounts, annual budgets and forecasts
Demonstrable experience of business partnering and adding commercial value to an organisation
Training and development of team and non-finance colleagues
