Group Financial Reporting Accountant opportunity, based in Coventry, up to £60,000 plus bonus, benefits.

Hays Senior Finance are delighted to be working with this manufacturing business in Coventry, to recruit a Group Financial Reporting Accountant.

Your new role
You will be reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, to underpin and develop the day to day accounts function and across the Groups operations. you will provide cover both for the FD in certain areas but down through the Accounts Team on a hands on basis to be responsible for and to manage a system of internal and external financial controls.

You will assist the FD to ensure effective and appropriate use of the Company's financial resources in order for the Company to achieve its financial and strategic objectives and ambitious growth plans; whilst remaining compliant and providing a high calibre, accurate and value added service to the Group's Business Management.

Responsibilities include; provision of balance sheet controls and maintenance of system controls in support of the financial information, KPI and associated reporting requirements for internal and external needs, preparation of annual statutory accounts and liaison with auditors and tax advisors. Full responsibility for the Treasury Function including provision of cash flow forecasts and participation in working capital management. You will also be assisting in the preparation of budgets and maintenance of rolling financial forecasts, investigating variances and highlighting any trends to the Board of Directors.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar role working within a fast paced entrepreneurial, dynamic, manufacturing high growth business. Must have experience in drafting statutory accounts and ideally experience in using Sage 200 including reporting and manufacturing modules; BOM and MRP. You will be proficient in managing monthly accounts preparation and reporting; timely, consistent and accurately, with strong treasury control; use of banking systems and cash flow/ working capital control & reporting. Qualified accountant is ideal, but QBE will also be considered.
