Our client is an independent corporate advisory business providing trusted advice and valuable solutions to business owners, management teams and investors. They work with companies of all sizes and stages of development, from concept stage through to established publicly listed entities, providing a full range of services including strategic advice, equity and debt capital fund raising, and M&A and disposals advisory. Having grown rapidly in 2018 they are now seeking to add to the execution capability of the team through the recruitment of one or more Corporate Finance Associates.

The successful candidate will have a high level of technical competence, and an ability and desire to build trusted relationships with clients and finance providers and other advisory professionals. Ideally the candidate will be a high performing qualified accountant or with an equivalent financial qualification, with a strong interest in corporate finance and investment.

The role:
* Working closely with the Directors & co-founders

* Transaction execution, including project management of other professionals involved in a transaction

* Financial modelling and company valuation work

* Assistance with preparation of Investment Memorandums

* Identification of potential funders and buyers/sellers of businesses

* Identification of new opportunities and assistance in preparing for new business presentations

* Ability to travel throughout the UK and possibly internationally as required

* General support to the directors as required

Your Skills and Experience:
* Qualified Accountant with 1-3 years post qualification experience or equivalent financial qualification

* Interest in corporate finance and investment

* Strong financial modelling skills

* Ability to prepare professional looking presentations in PowerPoint

* Strong writing, presentation and organisational skills
