Based in Lancashire this business are a world leading logistics business who work with multiple blue chip organisations. Operating in a range of sectors they are looking to increase their team with a technically strong accountant with an ambition to develop the business through ad-hoc mergers and acquisitions.

Your New Job

As Financial Reporting Accountant you shall work with two group finance teams providing IFRS financial accounting support including consolidated statutory accounts preparation. You shall complete statutory IFRS accounts, including group consolidation and some standalone subsidiaries and assist in the conversion of subsidiary companies to IFRS. A rounded role you shall also prepare monthly consolidated management accounts for multiple companies including overseas subsidiaries and provide treasury support. Due to the continued success of the firm, they are currently going through a period of growth fronted by the parent company. This growth is heightened through multiple acquisitions and integrations which you will have the opportunity to get involved with various related projects.

Your Experience & Our Requirements 

The successful applicant will be a proactive, fully qualified Accountant either making their first or second move from practice or established in a similar role. You will have strong IFRS technical accounting ability and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Due to the nature of this position it is necessary that the successful individual is able to communicate with staff at all levels as well as provide useful commentary alongside group requirements
