Partner Financial are working with a global organisation based in Central London, with a reputation in the market for excellence, delivery and innovation. This key division of the £multi-billion business is at the forefront of the industry and has a brand that allows them to compete for the highest profile contracts and provide a comprehensive, results focused and bespoke service to a suite of clients globally.
This business unit that provides a key stream of services, is now seeking a Finance Director to ensure the provision of in-depth financial support and control to the business areas and wider organisation, whilst ensuring commercial and operational objectives are met, in line with the current group strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full ownership of P&L, Balance sheet and accounting guidelines for the businesses within the division;
- Working with the Executive Leadership team in review of monthly performance to ensure KPI’s and objectives are reached;
- Leading the budgeting & forecasting process and associated deep-dive analytical activities around cost efficiency, risks and opportunities;
- Liaising with the Treasury teams to manage FX exposures;
- Acting as an advisor to management and provide insightful business commentary and ad-hoc reporting/packs as required by executives;
- Creating an environment of robust financial control and effectiveness with the support of the internal audit team and advisors;
- Driving and instilling a culture of continuous improvements within the team both financial, and organisational;
- Managing an developing a local team alongside an offshore Shared Service Centre relationship and their outputs.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant with demonstrable industry experience of managing teams (including offshore), partnering with executives and ideally owning a P&L and Balance Sheet for a business or division.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced organisation or division that is constantly adapting and change and being able to deliver said changes to operations and processes;
- Commercially astute and comfortable in challenging and partnering with senior leadership both operational and financial;
