Finance Director

Our client is a prestigious University spinout with market leading technology in the aerospace industry.  The organisation is both a service provider and manufacturer of highly sophisticated product.  Clients range from leading international automotive and aerospace manufacturers to government defence agencies.  The CEO is looking to appoint a Finance Director to partner him in leading the senior management team on a journey of expansion and investor fundraising.  The role will involve both high level strategic leadership as well as the daily detail and activities involved with running all aspects of finance and commercial decision making within the organisation.  The ideal candidate will have previous private equity and/or M&A experience and will be comfortable operating in a small but highly sophisticated environment with the opportunity to really be part of an exciting growth story.  Interested candidates must be able to demonstrate previous experience of holding the stand-alone No 1 role in finance and must also be able to add strategic value at Board Level as well as assist the CEO in fulfilling his vision for the organisation moving forward.
