Our client with well-appointed offices in St Neots has an interim opportunity for someone to join them in an interim Ledger Manager role.

Starting as soon as possible, you will oversee a large team of both sales and purchase ledger staff and will directly manage a team of four.

Your daily duties will include;

Overseeing the teams, ensuring that they work efficiently both internally and externally with suppliers vendors and stakeholders
Ensuring aged debt is monitored regularly, implementing necessary debt recovery procedures
Producing and distributing all documentation required to facilitate effective communication across the wider business and beyond
Ensuring efficient maintenance of the business' income and payment facilities
Consistently reviewing and refining business processes and adding value where appropriate
Producing regular management information including KPIs
Month end close and processing
Looking for areas where processes can be improved and developed
Working closely with management team
Ad hoc duties

The successful candidate will be experienced in ledger management and supervising large teams.

Experience in the housing sector would be an added bonus.

Excellent IT skills are essential and experience of motivating high volume processing teams whilst working for the good of the business and ensuring that KPIs are met wherever possible.

Starting as soon as possible, the role offers potential to work on a day rate or annualised salary.
