Business Analyst

A London based FTSE business require an experienced Business Analyst to support a Finance P2P transformation project. The business is looking to implement a Proactis solution and the role of the Business Analyst will be to map the current and future state view of people, processes and platforms as well as perform gap analysis.

Responsibilities

• Interacting directly with end users and key stakeholders to gather, document and assess business and functional requirements through a variety of methods
• Mapping "as is" and "to be" end-to-end processes, performing gap analysis, providing insight into future state best practice and recommending options for consideration
• Accurately referencing high-level business processes to underlying requirements (and vice versa)
• Adhering to governance standards across the Finance Transformation
• Contributing to programme status reporting, including relevant scorecards (e. RAID register), budget variance analysis and scope, resources and milestone change logs

Skills & Experience

• Hands-on exposure to agile way of working
• Experience in steering financial system implementations (P2P systems ideally) in a complex business or industry
• Ability to identify, assess and recommend changes within a Finance Shared Service Centre (SCC)
• Motivated team player who also works well independently
• Skilled communicator demonstrating refined stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Able to build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (e. Programme Steering Committee, Finance, HR and Technology Leadership Teams, Third Party Suppliers)
• Proficient user of collaboration tools (e. Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, Teams)
• Relevant PMP, Prince2, Scrum qualifications
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst
