Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking for a bright and personable Business and MI Analyst for a successful business in Chesterfield. They are looking for someone with strong technical analytical skills to help shape and steer the operations and commercial side of the business.
This is a newly created and challenging role reporting into the Commercial Manager. The successful candidate will help devise and implement a pricing governance and standardisation programme, supporting the organisation with a suite of reports and MI Data.
Duties will include:-
- Analysing current and historical performance and profitability of clients and services to assist in key decision-making for the commercial business
- Developing and adapting complex pricing models to understand the opportunities and risks in pricing responses
- Pulling data for departments to enable workflow and report writing to enable business functionality
- Producing internal and external weekly and monthly reporting designed for business decision support
- Working with the departments leads, providing in-depth investigations where required
- Working alongside the commercial teams to develop portfolio management with a strong value focus
- You will be the workstream lead for on-boarding a central house for data reports
- Assisting with further development of analytical and reporting capabilities
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
*Data analysis and interpretation skills
*Strong Commercial understanding
*Persuasive and influencing skills
*Report writing experience
*At least 4 years' experience of working in a similar role
*Advanced Excel and data modelling
*Comfortable working with 'unclean' data, with multiple sources
*Financial modelling and budget planning experience required
*An organised and logical approach to solving problems
*A team player and a clear communicator, both written and verbal
*Capability of working with global organisations
*Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure prioritising workload
*Ability to deal with all levels of stakeholders across the business
