Finance Manager

Finance Manager for Planning and Performance required for established listed Business based in North Hertfordshire.

Whilst reporting to the Financial Controller the Finance Manager (Planning and Performance) will oversee Management reporting and provide analysis and business partnering to support future Planning and decision support across a number of business units.

Key accountabilities include: Preparation of the Monthly and Annual reporting packs for submission to Group, P&L work, supporting the budgeting and planning process, cash-flow and working capital reporting, business partnering to several business units including attendance at trade review meetings, competitor and market analysis, assisting in the preparation of half year and annual glossy reports, ad-hoc project work and supporting the Financial accounting and audit cycles.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA with circa 3 to 5 years post qualified exposure.

A sound technical and commercial accounting background combined with the ability to communicate and build relationships with senior leadership is desirable. A good working level of Excel is required as is an aptitude for developing systems and processes.
