Finance Manager

This business has experienced rapid growth and is now a leading manufacturer of specialist product, they have a worldwide customer base, state of the art production and development facilities and an excellent reputation for customer service.

The business is constantly evolving and they would now like to recruit a Finance Manager to oversee the accounts department under the stewardship of a part time Finance Director. The role will offer full exposure to the other Directors and you will be go to person for the site management team, playing a key role in resolving queries, driving changes and making improvements. The Finance Manager will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts and reports
• Providing detailed MI and commentary to stakeholders throughout the business
• Improving systems, processes and controls to support business growth and compliance
• Cash management, forecasting and currency management
• Managing the sales and purchase ledger team
• Improving the budgeting and forecasting process
• Sales and margin analysis, costing new products

The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager vacancy would be a strong communicator who can problem solve in a fast-moving environment. The rapid growth of this business means that at times you will have to use your own initiative to seek solutions and a positive, tenacious approach will be vital. The business manufactures in high volumes so the ability to work with operational and warehouse staff to improve processes and educate on financial implications will be a key attribute required to add value to this Finance Manager position. Previous experience as a Management or Financial Accountant, qualified or part qualified (or strong QBE) would be ideal along with the drive and positive attitude to prove yourself in an entrepreneurial environment.
