Robert Walters have partnered with a North Birmingham Brand to recruit for a suitably experienced, hands on Senior Financial Accountant for an impressive, familiar regional brand as part of it 2019 growth plans.
Reporting directly into the Finance Director, you will own and lead a small team of people who take full ownership of all aspects of the day to day financial accounting and control for the business. Essential to this role, you will be technically fully up to date with all current IFRS standards but more than just reporting on the numbers, you will work with the leadership team in helping the business understand and make sense of the numbers.
This is ideally suited to someone who is a high achiever, and who recognises the value that working for the Finance Director can bring to not just the business but their own career. You will lead a small and elite team and will be part of something very special. It is expected that the person appointed to this role will have the natural inclination to step up to a Financial Controller role in 2-3 years.
