Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a key client, based in the Rotherham area as they look to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent, full time basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant looking to further their career.

Accounts Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:

- Maintaining accurate banking reconciliation
- Maintaining purchase and ledger invoices
- Allocating payments to accounts
- Resolving issues and dealing with queries
- Maintaining fixed assets register
- Processing staff expenses
- VAT returns
- Petty cash
- Preparing budgets and following up in liaison with other non finance colleagues
- Using Excel on a daily basis

To be successful for this role you will have the following:-

- Have the ability to work pro-actively within a team
- Advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables/v look ups)
- Educated to GCSE level (A-C in Maths & English)
- Studying towards AAT qualification
- Possess good organisation skills
- Have excellent interpersonal skills to deal with customers and external contacts
