My client are a rapidly growing service business based Willenhall. They are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant position to support their Finance Director with the day to day running of the finance department and oversee the transactional team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business on a steady incline with real scope to progress and eventually build and manage a team.
Key responsibilities include;
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts - accruals/prepayment journals
- Daily Bank postings and reconciliations
- Administer and reconcile International companies balance sheets
- Preparing and reviewing VAT Returns, Fixed Asset Register and cashflow forecasting
- Assist the Finance Manager in periodic Budget and forecast for approval by the Finance Director
