Commercial Accountant
Reporting to the FP&A Controller, the role is wide-ranging and will include flash reporting, management reporting and project roles:
Key responsibilities include:-
- Flash Reporting: Manage the production of the weekly flash results (excel based);
- Maintenance and improvement of the budget, forecast models;
- Work with site business partners to improve and standardise weekly reporting processes;
- Business partner to produce annual financial budgets, forecasting, scenario planning (P&L) and review/challenge budget assumptions;
- Management Reporting: Including performing trend and variance analysis on actual and forecast results, preparing commentary and identifying areas for cost savings / revenue enhancement;
- Assist the FP&A & Management Accounting teams at month-end identifying month-end adjustments;
- Project Roles – ad hoc modelling projects to support business case propositions or change management projects;
- Ad hoc detailed investigation of cost areas where required.
The Candidate
- ACA, ACCA or ACMA qualified
- Sound commercial acumen supported by excellent relationship building and excellent communication skills;
- Strong modelling (Excel) skills
