Commercial Accountant

The SF Group is currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner for a well established company in Nottingham. This role will report directly into the Supply Chain Controller, and has come about to an internal promotion.

Key responsibilties include:

* Financial modelling prep for various initiatives, to identify the business benefits and related risks
* Understanding drivers of gross margin performance within the business unit, providing feedback of accurate management information to demonstrate this understanding.
* Supporting the Supply Chain controller in understanding and evaluating the financial impact of all business initiatives affecting Product, Price and Placement
* Reviewing profits and contributing towards the preparation of content for Monthly meetings.
* Preparation and production of monthly and quarterly forecasts in addition to the annual budget for Business Unit gross margins.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) with at least 5 years Post Qualified Experience. You must be a fantastic communicator and relationship builder with an outstanding work ethic. You must also be able to work within a high pressured environment, with a high level of attention to detail. Previous experience in a Business Partnering role is essential, as are Advanced Excel and Office Word skills. Previous use of SAP is also desirable.
