Financial Controller

A leading financial services organisation based in the Basingstoke area have engaged Venture Recruitment Partners in their search for a Financial Controller.

Taking financial responsibility for the Business Unit, you will develop a greater understanding of the balance sheet and P&L performance, whilst providing insightful commentary. You will then Business Partner with stakeholders across the Group, helping to review business performance and identify opportunities for growth. This position will also look to improve and implement strong controls across all accounting processes in accordance with IFRS. It will be necessary to relay such information to the wider business, making sure the impact of any changes is understood.  

The client is looking for a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a background in financial control in a financial services business. You will also show the potential to develop and manage a high-quality team whilst also having previous experience of IFRS.
