A highly successful, growing and acquisitive FinTech business with a truly global footprint based near the heart of London’s premier business district of Canary Wharf are seeking a smart, ambitious and career focused Finance Analyst to join their team.
The Group Financial Analyst is a business partnering role that will effectively partner with globally located product/regional finance teams and account management to deliver the required consolidated group wide information. It will provide insight to the business to assist in decision making and provide finance teams with required segment and FP&A reporting/analysis.The role will work within the Group FP&A team, based in the UK, to contribute towards the team ensuring the timely delivery of group wide quarterly; annual and strategic financial budgets, and monthly variance analysis and strategic reporting to Excomm.
You would also be responsible for completion of various consolidated sales and revenue analysis tasks both for group deliverables and internal management decision support, and Assist Group team, Group Manager and Finance Director with reporting requirements. More specifically the incumbent will develop and utilise knowledge of business to ensure smooth functioning of the Finance department, be responsible for maintaining and reporting of timely true and correct financial data and manage the consolidation process of monthly US GAAP management account deliverables from start to completion, assisting associates where required to ensure consistency across group. You would also assist in the preparation of annual budgets and strategic plan. Another important part of the role would be tracking of new sales/revenue, losses and concession revenue impacts and their respective variances against plan and forecast, including maintenance and reconciliation of master files used in flash, forecast, quarterly analyst call and Sales to revenue deliverables.
To be considered for this career developing opportunity, you will be an ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant (ideally from practice training) with a little post qualification experience, and experience outside of practice in a similar role. You must have strong analysis, reconciliation and Excel skills, exceptional communication ability, a strong career focus, with experience of managing tasks through to completion – a real self-starter. Experience of US GAAP, multi-currency or project reporting would be desirable, as would knowledge of Oracle.
