A full service communications and PR company are looking for a Sales Ledger to join their finance team based in central London. There is scope for the role to develop and duties to be rotated with the view to eventually bring in some management accounting experience. We are looking for a friendly and outgoing individual who is looking to start a career in finance and join a fun creative agency.
Key responsibilities:
• Ensuring Sales Invoices are raised in line with revenue and supporting client approvals, agreements and budgets are in place
• Month end checking for invoice accuracy
• Meeting weekly with the Finance Manager regarding accrued revenue and WIP balances
• Meeting monthly with the CFO and JFC regarding accrued revenue
• Working closely with the Credit Controller to ensure General Expense’s invoices are prepared in line with WIP balances
Key skills and qualifications:
- Finance related degree 2:1 or above
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Friendly and sociable
