Reporting into the FP&A Manager the Financial Analyst would be responsible for controlling and reporting the financials of delivery units. The Financial Analyst will have an active role being part of a business critical function responsible for submitting forecast, budget, actuals, ad hoc and other projection reports to the controlling group and Senior Managers in UK on a monthly basis. The role requires a detailed oriented individual who is proactive, enthusiastic and ready to get stuck in with a busy team together with a proven track record of delivering accurate reporting in a time pressured environment, supporting executive level decision making. Duties of the Financial Analyst include:
► Preparing, analysing and reporting key variances in monthly finances to senior management team
► Partnering with SPS Ops team and preparing rolling forecast, budgets and actuals for submission to group
► Collaborate across the Finance department to increase efficiency in financial processes that cross departmental lines and ensure robust controls are in place
► Perform accounting closing duties with a focus on intra business unit cross charges (SAGE 200)
► Prepare and report on key financial drivers impacting the productivity within the delivery units
► Develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external customers
► Review and challenge business owners on contract performance and cost spends as required whilst supporting to fully understand their financial performances
► Continually support business owners to evaluate the effectiveness of operational procedures and controls to maximize departmental productivity and minimise error

The ideal candidate will display the following qualities:
► Ability to work diligently on deadlines with a positive attitude, enthusiastic and should have high level of concentration and ability to isolate accounting issues and rectify it
► Effective written and verbal communication skills
► Strong desire to exceed expectations
► Advanced knowledge of financial ratios and concepts
► Advanced knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to use functions
► Should maintain good relationship with co-workers, stakeholders, clients of the company
► A genuine all-rounder who is able to undertake multitude of tasks supporting a busy front facing finance team
► Willingness to work hard and beyond the remit where necessary
