The Role  

As an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior, you will assist managers and supervisors in preparing accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.  

In this key role, you’ll look after the affairs of SMEs, sole-traders and partnerships as well as the accounts of some large businesses with much more complex, technical requirements.  

Typically, your duties will include:  

- Preparing financial statements, year-end accounts and other accounting and finance returns  
- Assisting in the delivery and completion of audit work  

About You  

To be considered as an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior, you will need one of the following:  

- To be ACA or ACCA part qualified with at least one year’s experience  
- To be AAT qualified with substantial audit experience  

It is also essential that you have:  

- Experience in audit and accountancy handling a portfolio of clients in a professional firm  
- A strong level of IT literacy, particularly with MS Office, especially Word and Excel  

Experience with Sage, Viztopia and the ProAudit packages would be beneficial to your application, however this is by no means essential.
