We are recruiting a Qualified Finance Director for an initial interim duration of 3-6 months, with the scope to develop into a permanent role in the future.
The organisation is well established with national profile and an annual turnover of circa £8 Million. Reporting into the Chief Executive, you will be a member of the charity's Senior Management Team and responsible for coordinating the Trustees' General Purposes & Finance Sub-Committee. You will provide professional advice to Trustees, the Chief Executive and staff on all matters of financial and resource management. Leading a finance ream of 3, you will be willing and able to get involved with managing the detail of a finance function and experience of working in an SME environment will be helpful.
The successful candidate will be CCAB Qualified and you will be a finance professional with drive and ambition. The organisation has a hands-on, problem solving team culture so it is essential that you have the ability to solve problems, coach and influence others to step up and continue the improvement process. You will have strong skills in strategic planning, monitoring and reporting on the delivery of plans and projects.
You will gave a proven track record in preparing statutory accounts and liaising with auditors - experience of reporting to SORP accounting standards will be viewed as an advantage but is not essential. Interviews will be held in the near future with the opportunity to commence the assignment before Christmas. A wonderful opportunity to contribute to a fantastic organisation.
