The SF Group are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for a well established business in North Derbyshire. This is an exciting role reporting directly into the Group Finance Manager, working closely alongside the Senior Finance and Management Team.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Production of the Monthly Management Accounts
- Budgets & Forecasts
- Preparation of of Statutory Accounts, year-end and Tax Comps
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with PAYE, VAT & Corporation Tax
- Audit preparation, including Internal
- Fixed Asset Register Maintenance
- Cash Flow Management and reporting - with any issues highlighted
- Any ad-hoc projects as required by Senior Management
You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA), preferably with a practice background. Strong leadership and communication skills are a must, as is the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will be a flexible and assertive individual with the ability to influence at all levels. Occasional travel will be required to other sites within the business.
