Based in Luton, Bedfordshire, our client is an established, high profile business, is looking for a FP&A Manager to join their team.

This job would suit a qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA or ACA) with post qualified experience in FP&A gained within a blue chip organisation. Providing support to the Head of FP&A, this is a high profile role, to ensure the delivery of the financial planning processes along with all centralised business unit consolidation and group level reporting.

The successful individual will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA) with a strong academic background coupled with FP&A experience gained within a fast moving environment. The candidate needs to have a results-focused personality with an aptitude for commercial finance and effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with and challenge at all levels within the business. Excellent Excel modelling and developed IT skills are essential as is the ability to analyse and convey complex ideas to non-finance colleagues.

Duties will include:

• Developing the annual budget and forecast processes, ensuring the integrity and consistency of submitted data to facilitate robust challenge
• Pre-empting issues, understanding and then challenging all key inputs and assumptions before onward submission
• Driving the delivery of completely accurate, consistent and reliable budget and forecast templates
• Ensure effective delivery of the business plan from the FP&A team
• Reviewing and challenging monthly actual results with the Reporting team and monthly analysis submitted by division
• Supporting the senior management with month-end alignment meeting ensuring sufficient challenge of each divisions' results
• Developing an impactful and insightful reports of monthly performance, focussing on key performance issues
• Supplying advice, insight, commentary and challenge on commercial performance, investment returns, integrity of forecasts - act as early warning system to the board
• Supporting the development of effective quarterly rolling forecast process including risk-adjusted forecasting
• Supporting the Head of FP&A and IT Director to develop BI systems strategy and delivery
• Providing financial support and insight as required by the Head of FP&A
