The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance and with working relationships across both finance and operations, this role has a number of responsibilities including:
- Working closely with the business leaders to pull together all of the business ‘s corporate and subsidiary’s budgets
- Set the annual budgets and forecasts to ensure they align with the business’s strategy
- Ensure on a monthly basis all reforecasts and budget variances are completed.
- Help the business to better understand its’ numbers and performance
- Work closely with the FP&A Manager to help build the business’s strategic plan.
- As the business continues to expand and develop new product offerings, there will be significant opportunities for the successful candidate to take on further analytical and team leadership functions.
In order to be considered for this Senior Management Accountant position you will meet the following criteria:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified desirable
- Experience across hospitality or a multi-site retail environment is essential
- Sage 200 experience is essential
- Have played an integral part in the formulation of a company’s budgets and forecast
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Substantial experience with budgeting / forecasting
