Credit Specialist - Cambridge - Global Technology Company - £200 - £220 per day

Your new role as a Credit Specialist will be working for a global Technology company in the heart of Cambridge. This company is well known and going through some global transformation changes.

Your new role
You will be working in a busy, professional team handling worldwide customer accounts, that is currently undergoing a transformation from manual processes to greater automation. This role gives you the opportunity to work within a team to utilise technical and organisational skills to see tasks through to completion to meet the needs of both our internal and external customers. You'll build partnerships throughout the business and have an opportunity to grow within this role provide valuable input into improvements to processes. Initially, the priority is to help clear some existing backlogs, particularly around SAP data and withholding tax. You will then move on to embrace other areas such as supporting the department in ensuring the receivables ledgers are up to date and clean updating key fields in SAP and managing the withholding tax part of the ledger. You will support the Cashier by identifying and advising on outstanding cash allocations, supporting team members in collecting cash from international accounts and managing automatic dunning runs. You will also be be required to help the team in other ways as requested.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you must have previous experience of working in a busy, diverse international billing and credit department, good SAP knowledge and experience and good MS office skills, especially Excel. You must be a self-starter, energetic, collaborative and have a passion for ownership and completion of tasks.
