Group Financial Accountant

Title: Group Financial Accountant
Salary: C£40-£50k
Location: Finsbury Circus

Are you looking to work within a FTSE 250 listed financial services organisation based in Central London? The is a unique opportunity for someone looking to get board level experience within a FTSE 250 business in an FS environment with a collaborative and progressive culture. You will work closely with the Head of Group Reporting and provide high-level support in relation to the internal and external financial reporting for the group, alongside senior finance team and board members.

Key Accountabilities
* Involvement in all aspects of the group's financial reporting, ensuring all reports and submissions are accurate and submitted and fulfil all statutory requirements.
* Provide support to the Senior Group Reporting Accountant with preparation and production of the groups annual, interim and quarterly reporting.
* Act as a business partner for certain support functions, supporting with analysis, budgets and forecasting
* Work with the senior team to perform financial modelling and forecasting.

The ideal candidate will be
* A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
* Highly proficient in Excel, with experience of financial modelling
* Strong IFRS Knowledge
* Proven experience of statutory and financial reporting
* Experience of working with financial accounting systems and databases.
