Group Accountant

A great opportunity to join a FTSE listed business in a Group level environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with a Practice background (ideally ACA/Big 4) to join a market leading company.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• To be a qualified accountant (ACA preferred) with 0-3 years' post-qualification experience
• First-rate technical skills, with up to date knowledge of the latest accounting standards.
• Confidence in working with senior leadership in a FTSE environment
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• First rate communication skills, and the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance colleagues
• The ability to work to tight deadlines, keeping a sense of humour during testing situations

A little more information on the role

• You will be involved in the preparation of Group consolidated accounts, working with the senior finance leadership team
• You will assist in the preparation of the Annual Report and presentations to Analysts and Investors
• You will work closely with the external auditor throughout the audit process
• Be involved in the preparation and analysis of the half year/full year forecasts
