Sole Charge Bookkeeper - Leisure Business - Xero - up to £35,000 - South West London

A SME business is recruiting a standalone Bookkeeper to join their fast-growing business. This an entrepreneurial and thriving business looking for a forward thinking and motivated finance professional to join their company.

Your new role
You will be working in a sole charge Bookkeeper position and be responsible for recording the day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process with Xero. You will ensure to raise invoices to clients and ensure customers receivables are collected promptly. You will also be involved in preparation of all supplier payments for weekly Bacs run. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparation of monthly payroll (PAYE, SSP, SMP, SPP, P60, P45, P11D, P46 and preparation of pay slips) and submission of VAT returns, annual returns and year-end tax returns. You will conduct monthly bank reconciliations and cost and revenue reconciliations. You will carry out cash flow forecasting and production of monthly financial information pack for management team budgeting, planning and forecasting.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have experience of working in a sole charge role including producing full sets of monthly management accounts. Previous experience of Xero software experience is essential. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential (including pivots and v-lookups) for this position. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability work under pressure and being a confident self-starter.
