A leading retail business based near Crewe are looking for a Financial Controller to join them on a 6 month interim basis.
Role and Responsibilities
As part of this Financial Controller role, you will be completing the following tasks:
- Delivering accurate financial information to the business, in order to support effective strategic decision making
- Working closely with the operational leadership team, as well as the wider senior management team to deliver commercial information and support key decisions
- Analysing information to find key trends to help direction the business to continue to grow
- Reporting on key KPIs across the business
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting process
- Providing financial modelling, alongside commentary as required
- Continuous process improvement
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (or overseas equivalent) from a retail background
- Strong commercial experience and business partnering experience
- Good analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel
Salary and Contract
- 6 month contract, full time
- £350 - £450 per day
