Castle Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for an Accounts Manager to join a very busy, fast-paced and growing business initially on a 6-month fixed term contract. The role is based within a successful expanding business based in the Scarborough area in North Yorkshire.

Reporting into the Finance Director, main responsibilities for the Accounts Manager will include:

  • Overseeing the daily transactional functions within the finance department
  • Supervision of the Sales and Purchase Ledger
  • Supervision of Accounts Assistant/Administrators
  • Daily Bank Postings
  • Daily Reconciliations incl. FX and Inter-company
  • Monthly Payroll Preparation
  • Using Sage 50 and Sage One
  • Ad hoc duties and projects as requested by the Finance Director

To be considered for this Accounts Manager role, you will need the following experience:

  • A minimum of 3 year's accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience of Sage would be advantageous
  • Level 3 ATT or above, or recent relevant experience
