Our client is a fast growing, and extremely aspirational Private Equity backed group who are entering an exciting growth phase with two new products being launched, and as such they require a Qualified Finance Manager (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) to strengthen their team.
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, with a dotted line into the Managing Director and Group Finance Director, you will be heavily involved in setting up this division and partnering with the larger team. As the division develops, they will refinance some the projects therefore liaising with banks and providing timely information will be important.
Responsibilities will include
- Preparing the month end management accounts and board packs
- KPI analysis and commentary of performance against budget
- Financial accounts preparation and external audit liaison
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Profit and loss forecasting
- Information, analysis and advice to management team
- Liaising with external stakeholders and providing timely information
- Cash flow forecasting, analysis and budgeting
- Maintenance of finance procedures manual
- Contribute to improving current processes and systems
Requirements
- You MUST be fully ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified, and there will be a strong preference for candidates who trained within practice
- Strong communication skills, to both Finance and non-Finance members of staff
- Initiative and can work with minimum supervision
- A "can do" mind-set and are adaptable and quick to learn
- The ability to work to tight deadlines
- A pro-active approach to problem solving
- The ability to prioritise workload with an attention to detail and willingness to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner
- Good organisational skills
