Systems Accountant

Badenoch & Clark are working with an excellent organisation based just outside Peterborough who are looking for a Systems Accountant to join the team. Reporting into the Head of Finance this will play a key role in developing the organisation's finance systems and reporting. Key areas of responsibility will include:

* Playing a key role in developing the Group's system capabilities to improve Group reporting.
* Working with the Group Systems Analyst to support the management accounting function Group-wide and drive automation of good quality, accurate and timely reporting capability.
* Supporting the Group Systems Analyst with Business Intelligence programmes and maintenance of finance process maps.
* Providing support for the day-to-day running and maintenance of TM1, ensuring all finance systems are kept in sync.
* Managing the Chart of Accounts in Oracle, ensuring consistency across the Group.
* Liaising with end users to understand and document reporting requirements.
* Provide training, with supporting documentation, for end users following finance system upgrades.
* Work with MIS to provide finance system support.

Additional Duties:
* Assist the Group Systems Analyst in providing support to the finance teams during Oracle rollout and upgrade programmes.
* Other duties and ad hoc projects as reasonably requested from time to time.

Experience and Qualifications:
* Part Qualified CIMA or qualified.
* Previous experience of working with Oracle and IBM Cognos TM1 an advantage.
