Financial Analyst

Our client is a leading supplier of food products to retail, food-service and food manufacturing customers in both European and global markets.

As a result of restructure and ambitious growth plans, an outstanding opportunity, in a newly created role, has arisen to join the finance team at their impressive new offices on the outskirts of Worcester, just off the M5.

Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst you will be responsible for delivering high quality financial analysis that provides insight and enhances commercial decision making. More specifically, working closely with Accounting & Reporting and FP&A, and with the local commercial teams and wider business generally, you will...

*Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting and analysis of business performance (KPIs and metrics)
*Provide commentary and initial analysis and interpretation of results to the business for further use by FP&A for longer-term planning/scenarios
*Design and deliver, leveraging technology (Tableau, Power BI, SAP) insightful, high quality  stakeholders' reports
*Support and implement process simplification and enhancements to standardise and improve business information
*Continuously improve the level of management reporting

We are looking for a qualified accountant, with strong analytical experience ideally acquired within a sizable, complex organisation. We're an international, multi-site, manufacturing business so the more relevant experience there - especially costing/manufacturing/aligned - the better.  SAP experience will be highly advantageous too. Ultimately however your personal traits will be key. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a positive can do attitude and be comfortable with change.
