Your new company
I am currently working with a manufacturing business based in Shrewsbury who have a permanent job vacancy within their finance team. This job is a commercial/strategic finance opportunity where you will be working closely with operations and the factory to drive efficiency and control of costs.

Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director with a dotted line into group finance this is a number 1 on site finance position where you will be part of the senior leadership team for Shrewsbury and responsible for managing a small finance team. In your job you will work closely with the factory and business partner with the manager to provide information on product costing and performance. You will complete management accounts and weekly reporting packs as well as being responsible for signing off invoices and financial controls.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a fully qualified accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA or part-qualified/qualified by experience with relevant manufacturing sector experience. You will have good communication skills and be interested in a commercial/strategic role where you can add value.
