The Company
We are recruiting for an experienced IT/Digital Advisory Consultant on behalf a global consulting business. The position arises out of continued growth of their IT Advisory Services to their clients. The division focuses on IT & Digital strategy, Cloud application architecture and selection, NetSuite & Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions, Technology enabled business transformation and Corporate Performance Management.
The Role
The role requires a strong understanding of core finance processes and ERP software and a minimum of 5 years practical experience in IT consulting / IT Strategy / IT operations in related roles. The successful individual will be part of the team delivering on projects such as; assessment of current IT systems and services; developing IT / digital strategies to support business growth; merger & acquisition support; selection of business systems and other technologies; project management; business transformation including software, process and organisational changes.
The Person
It is desirable that the individual possess a recognised accounting qualification such as CIMA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA, although 5 years relevant experience is essential. The aim is to recruit an individual who is practical and pragmatic (rather than overly technical) with excellent communication skills and would act as a bridge between business managers and the IT function. With a passion and interest in "how IT can resolve a business's challenges", you will possess excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for this field of work will enable you to progress rapidly within this organisation. There is a minimum requirement that you must have a minimum of a 2:2 Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as computer science, business information systems or another degree with a significant IT component.
