Our client has grown their business on a strong reputation of quality and service with a sought after range of products they are recognised as a market leader. To support a challenging period of time this growing SME business is looking for a Fully Qualified Financial Controller to take overall responsibility of the finance function with three staff.

The interim period will give the client the time to source a suitable permanent person, naturally the interim can apply for the role.

Situated on the edge of the Cotswolds in North West Oxfordshire set in a rural setting this role requires a person with stamina and determination to succeed and in time enjoy the rewards on offer. 

Reporting to the Board duties will include

  • Maintaining control of the current financial system with a review to upgrade or replace
  • Budgeting & Statutory Accounts
  • Negotiating terms
  • Developing relationships with external source
  • Overall reporting to include management accounts, cash flow forecasting, invoicing and orders etc.
  • Foreign exchange management
  • Supporting the board in a variety of projects
  • VAT

You will need to be hands on with strong attention to detail and a confident communicator especially to non-financial individuals. A confident person who has the knowledge and the ability to think on their feet.

The role would suit a person who has experience within an SME business over £10m turnover.
